VISA document support

Attendees should check the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to determine whether they require a visa to enter Japan. If you require documents to support your visa application, you may request them through the online registration system. The ISTP-36 VISA Support Desk will prepare the necessary visa support documents. Please note that applicants are responsible for submitting their visa application directly to the relevant Japanese embassy or consulate.

Due to the time required for VISA issuance by Japanese embassies or consulates, attendees are strongly advised to apply for visa support as early as possible. While applications submitted less than one month prior to entry may still be processed, however, please note that we cannot guarantee visa issuance timelines. Please also note that it takes approximately one week for the ISTP-36 VISA Support Desk to issue and dispatch the support documents. VISA support document fees are strictly non refundable, regardless of the visa application outcome or the timing. VISA application assistance will only commence upon confirmation of payment.

ISTP-36 Conference liability limitation*

In the event of an industrial disruption or natural disaster, the ISTP-36, the Organizing committee, management and service providers and supporting organizations shall not be liable for any financial or other losses incurred by the conference delegates, herein referred to as participants, nor for any injury or damage to persons or property occurring during or in connection with the ISTP-36 conference. All insurance, including medical coverage, or expenses incurred in the event of the cancellation of ISTP-36 are the responsibility of the participant.
