A High Dynamic Range BLE Front-End with On-Chip Matching Network

As more devices are connected to the internet, there are many transmitters close by and further away. The receivers are required to have a high level of sensitivity along with the ability to handle strong input signals. In this work, a high dynamic range BLE front-end with an on-chip matching network is presented. An LNA bypass route is proposed to improve the dynamic range with a minimized on-chip area. The presented high dynamic range BLE front-end with the on-chip impedance matching network can achieve 85dB maximum dynamic range and consumes only 1.2mW power while achieving -95dBm minimum sensitivity.
