Comprehensive Automated Timing Extraction Methodology for Characterizing an Adiabatic Quantum-Flux-Parametron Logic Cell Library

There is a lack of electronic design automation (EDA) software for adiabatic quantum-flux-parametron (AQFP) logic to allow the design of VLSI circuits such as a microprocessor. Towards this end, we have previously developed a timing window extraction approach for AQFP logic. This data is then incorporated into hardware description level (HDL) logic models so that timing constraints and clock skew effects are considered. In this talk, we will show how we have revised our timing definitions of AQFP logic gates so that they are more suitable for industry standard timing analysis tools as well as being more comprehensive in detail.
