Numerical Comparison of Radio Frequency Current and Microwave Energy for Transcatheter Denervation;Temperature Distribution Around the Device

Transcatheter Denervation is a treatment which catheter inserted through artery and ablates specific area of nerve outside the blood vessel. The method is based on concept by ablating the renal nerves should eliminate resistant hypertension. Ablation itself is a process of sending energy through electrode to specific areas of body to destroy (ablate) by raising the temperature more than 60 ºC. The simulations result shows the advantage of microwave energy.
