An Evaluation of Increasing CCA Threshold of WLANs Supporting 40 MHz Channel Access
○Bo Yin・Koji Yamamoto(Kyoto Univ.)・Hirantha Abeysekera(NTT)
The adoption of 40 MHz and wider channels is a key throughput enhancing technology in the 802.11 wireless local area networks (WLANs)]. An important parameter in wide channel access is the clear channel assessment (CCA) threshold who balances the trade-off between frequency reuse and interference mitigation. This work presents evaluations of increasing the CCA threshold of WLANs that operate in 40 MHz channel.
