Experimental Investigation of a Dual-Axis Monopulse Microstrip Array Antenna Employing a Slot-T Type Planar Magic-T

This paper proposes a new microstrip array antenna composed of four linearly polarized microstrip antennas and one slot-T type planar magic-Ts.The proposed array antenna has a dual-feed network and provides monopulse radiation patterns in the phi=0°and phi=90°planes.The performances of a dual-axis monopulse microstrip array antenna are presented with experimental results to highlight its features.The proposed antenna can be used in many kinds of advanced antennas such as a DOA estimation antenna and wide-angle rectenna.
