Time-To-Live Based Caching Mechanism with Nonlinear Pricing

In this paper, we propose a Time-To-Live based cache mechanism with two-part tariff nonlinear price. In TTL based cache mechanism, a timer is set to determine how long the content stay in SP’s cache, while CP pay for cache time length based on a two-part tariff price. We theoretically analyze the cache occupancy rate, value rate, payment rate and CP’s utility, and provided solution for CP to optimally choose the time length stay in cache.
