Robust Arbitrary Unicast Transmission over Multi-way Relay Channel with CSI Error

Arbitrary unicast transmission (AUT) over multi-way relay channel, which means each user transmits its data to one of other users in a none overlapping manner during a medium-access phase and a broadcast phase, has been studied under the assumption that perfect channel state information (CSI) is available. Since the downlink CSI is hard to accurately estimate for the relay due to various factors, this paper investigates robust transceiver design for arbitrary unicast transmission with imperfect downlink CSI by minimizing the worst case of sum mean-square-error. The iterative algorithm is proposed and the validity is demonstrated via simulations.
