1/fゆらぎを用いた歩行のCGアニメーション

Various human motions, such as walking, exhibit 1/f fluctuations in which the power spectral density is inversely proportional to the frequency. Therefore, 1/f fluctuations can be used to reduce artificiality in motion of CG characters. In this study, walking animations using 1/f fluctuations are investigated by subjective comparison. The motion of the CG character was computed with the 1/f fluctuations. The 1/f fluctuations were applied to the lengths of the stride and the arm swing. As a result, the artificiality was more reduced in the case with the 1/f fluctuation than the case without the 1/f fluctuation.
