Scattering of Plane Waves by Magnetic-Field Biased Graphene: Modal Transmission-Line Approach

In this presentation, the plane wave scattering by graphene biased by static magnetic field is considered. Due to the tensor surface conductivity of the graphene, the hybrid waves including the transverse-electric (TE) and transverse-magnetic (TM) ones both are taken into account to deal with the vector boundary-value problem. The rigorous mathematical formulation based on the modal solutions and their transmission-line network representation are provided to systematically formulate the Faraday rotation in single and multilayered graphene.
