Investigation on adaptive power ratio in NOMA transmission with Gray mapping

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) utilizing transmit power difference and advanced receivers has been considered as a candidate radio access technology for future wireless communication systems. Currently NOMA is under studied within the scope of 3GPP study item in Release 13. Gray mapped composite constellation is one of the key characteristics for NOMA transmission. In this paper, we investigate the system performance with adaptive power ratio for NOMA transmission with Gray mapping.
