PRINCIPLE OF NOISE AND VIBRATION REDUCTION OF SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTOR IN MAGNETICALLY SATURATED REGION
◎JIHAD FURQANI・千葉 明(Tokyo Institute of Technology)
Rare-earth materials have cost fluctuation and becomes one of problems in electric and hybrid vehicles for mass production. One of the solutions for this problem is rare-earth free motors such as switched reluctance motor. Advantages of a switched reluctance motor are low manufacturing cost, high reliability and robustness and disadvantages such as, high acoustic noise and vibration, and uncommon inverter circuit. In this paper, the reduction of noise and vibration in magnetically saturated region is investigated. Driving current is derived to minimize the third harmonic component in radial force sum so the variation in the radial force sum is reduced.
