Improvement of Walking Posture by User Cooperative BAN

Walking is a fundamental activity in our life, and also enhances our quality of life (QOL). Most people unconsciously walk in the condition of an unbalanced body which might cause a physical trouble to the body. This paper describes the autonomous wearable Body Area Network system (BAN) to care unbalanced walking posture. By data fusion of various dynamic parameters from distributed sensing nodes attached on the body, the system gives advice to user. Finally, by cooperation with this wearable body area network system, user is able to realize the improvement of unbalanced walking behaviors.
