Stabilization of quantized feedback control system based on model predictive control

Real-time control systems via network have been actively studied with development of information technology and improvement in the speed of communication. In the networked control system, data transmitted via communication channel is compressed by a quantizer. The quantizer has to be designed for better performance of the networked control system. This paper addresses a model predictive based control for quantization feedback system in which variable quantization with discretized interval is used. Then effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through experiment.
