MNG ENG NZI Fractal Metasurface on Slot Antenna

This paper presents the characteristics of microstrip-fed slot antenna on the vicinity frequency range of MNG ENG, and NZI property from designed metasurface. The metasurface can achieve the miniaturized size and three unusual behaviors with using fractal fishnet structure and closed ring resonator on square area of unit cell. The interested points on the metasurface are observed around 1.25 GHz which is the transforming area of three unusual properties. Lastly, the slot antenna with metasurface exhibits the variety radiation patterns in XZ-plane in the operating frequency (1.10-1.44 GHz) that including of the reflection, transparent, and transport pattern cases.
