Analysis of Speed Control Performance Differences Between NO-core and GO-core IPMSM
◎Nicolas Denis・藤谷幸平・藤崎敬介(Toyota Technological Institute)
Anisotropic grain-oriented (GO) steel offers valuable magnetic characteristics in comparison of conventional isotropic non-oriented (NO) steel. It can be used for the design of high efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). In this brief, a comparison between a NO-core and a GO-core IPMSM is done. By using finite element method, differences in inductance values are observed. Moreover, a closed-loop speed control scheme is established for both NO-core and GO-core IPMSM using the simulation tool PSIM. The differences in transient response performances are investigated.
